Scouting
I can say that scouting is part of my life. I’m a scout since 1993, when I engaged with my Promise. Then I did the entire path until 2002. Those were unforgettable years full of wonderful experiences.
I served as adult leader in my original scout group, AGESCI Modica 2 (the same which I entered in), and in the SGDF group of Montrouge (Scouts et Guides de France). I serve with truly love and passion as I extremely believe in scouting as a great resource to contribute to the education of young people. It helps kids-boys-girls to grow up with a strong value system based on the Scout Promise and Law. It is a real way to build a better world!
My town: Modica
My hometown Modica is a little town in the south-east of Sicily. Its main feature is the baroque setting, which enabled Modica’s inscription on to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Moreover, in my opinion, it has another special feature: a pleasant peacefulness and a simplicity feeling, maybe something inherited by our traditional agricultural origins. Because of these reasons I love my town.
Exploration
I really like exploring new sites, especially those ones where I can appreciate uncontaminated nature. During my expeditions I usually bring with me a camera, hoping to take pictures of beautiful details.
